About us
Momentum, built on planning.
Inertia Built is a Calgary construction and development company, founded by a family team who believe a good home starts long before construction does.
Our story
Why Inertia
In physics, inertia is what keeps something moving once it is in motion. That is how we think about building: the work you do early, in design, budgeting and scheduling, decides how smoothly everything after it runs.
We started Inertia Built to build homes the way we would want our own built: carefully planned, honestly priced and properly managed. We work across residential development, new homes and custom builds, and we run projects with the same cost and schedule discipline whether the project is ours or a client's.
Our first home, at 530 21 Avenue NW in Calgary, is in the design stage now.
